"Malsvir?"

The wizard didn't look up from his book, long fingers curled around a mug while he idly leafed through the pages. "Mm?"

"Have the Black and White Dragons ever been known to... fight?"

"Well, they bicker like any other pair of siblings."

"No I mean..." Spyro wrung his hands, trying to think of the best way to put it. "All-out, 'I'm gonna kill you' kind of fighting. Kind of... sheer hatred for each other kind of fighting."

Mug paused half way to his mouth as Malsvir looked up at the Dragon Lord. "Are they...?"

"No, no, no! I just wondered what might happen... if they did..."

"Well," the Lunar Dragon put the mug back down. "There was one incident."

"What happened?"

"A war. Like, an all-out, years-long war. With armies and everything. They wiped each other out, and dragons nearly went extinct."

"...Shit."

"Yeah. That's the only one, though."

"D'you think it could happen again?"

"I sure as hell hope not."

"But could it? The Black Dragon can be kind of... aggressive."

"Yeah but not to the White Dragon."

"You just said they wiped each other out."

"Oh. Well, not usually. Can you see Jennu hurting Nariko?"

"No, I guess not." It didn't really need thinking about. "But what if—"

"Spyro, quit worrying about it; it won't happen."

"No, you're right, of course it won't happen."

"Obviously."

"Yeah..."
