It's hard enough ushering kids in to see Santa dressed in the most rediculous (but undeniably appropriate) outfit.

It's harder still when there's a friend stood in your peripheral vision laughing at you as you do so. With no doubt he'll never let you forget it for as long as he lives. And when he's immortal, that's a long time.

"Excuse me," Ankoku said stiffly to the kids waiting in line before he marched over to Malsvir. "You know you're not making this any easier," he hissed.

"I'm surprised that you think I should be," grinned the Lunar Dragon.

"Look, just keep your mouth shut or I'll end up knocking you half way across this damn shopping centre."

"You can't do that, not here," said Malsvir, suddenly serious.

"Why not?"

"Oh, you know... Elf and safety."

Nearby shoppers were then treated to the sight of one of Santa's helpers chasing a tall, gangly man through the centre while shouting profanities at him.
